“Let me begin by saying a huge THANK YOU to you and your wonderful crew of people at the retreat. Our wedding went off without a single hitch and we had the most amazing weekend with our family and friends. As my family had travelled from Canada we decided to book the retreat with the intentions of showing them an Australian/bush themed wedding, however, still maintain modern day comforts and luxury. This is exactly what we got! We were able to take long bush walks, and take in all the beautiful settings of Kangaroo Valley in the two days leading up the wedding and then relax and recover by the pool and fire pit for the two days afterwards. Both my family and Tim’s family were able to get to know each other leading up the wedding day which made for a more relaxed and laid back feeling on the wedding day and all of our guests told us that they had a fantastic time, which is all we wanted to hear! Mark and the crew could not have been happier to help us with anything we needed and worked in really well with our wedding planner and her requirements. There could not have been a more magical setting on earth for us than the bush cathedral, walking down that isle I felt as though nothing else existed in the world than Tim and I, and our celebrant continued the “earthy” theme with her style of ceremony. I’m looking forward to booking the retreat again closer to our anniversary date with a few close friends to relive the feelings of the day and our photos only remind me of our magical place every day. Again, thank you, no amount of words can express my gratitude for such an amazing experience on the most important day of our lives.”

Thank you for your tremendous work in making our wedding weekend a total success. Our guests were blown away by the Retreat and feel in love with it as we both have. From our arrival on Friday right through to leaving on Sunday, we were made to feel truly welcomed. Having the ceremony, photos, reception and accommodation all in the one place was perfect and gave us the relaxed, no rush wedding day we’d hoped for. And the catering by Katrina and her team was wonderful – our guests still talk about the dinner to this day! Again, many thanks for your assistance in making this easily best weekend of our lives. The Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat was a perfect location and setting for our special day. We loved it because of its natural and picturesque environment. The exclusive use of the property from Friday night was an excellent idea. The festivities began Friday night carried on through to the wedding Saturday afternoon and continued till Sunday afternoon. Our 80 guests who came from all over interstate & overseas enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. The attractive and comfortably appointed lodge and cabins were great and we appreciated the well-presented and maintained facilities including the function room, pergola, swimming pool, bar-bar-que and ­firepit .We self-catered and it was a pleasure to use the newly renovated kitchen. The ceremony in the ‘Bush Cathedral’ was truly a highlight with its natural beauty and magnificent setting. Celebrating afterwards on the ‘Outlook Platform’ overlooking Kangaroo Valley at sundown further enhanced this wonderful occasion. We have great memories of our guests dancing under the stars. A truly special evening. Thank you to the team at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat for providing this amazing facility and we would be delighted to recommend KVBR to others.

I am writing to thank the team at Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat for making our wedding day so special. When we first inspected the property we fell in love with the idea of exclusive use of the entire property for all our Friends & family and the use of the bush cathedral for the ceremony and viewing deck for cocktails that followed While watching the sun go down. It was a great idea to get out of town- so much better for our friends & family to have a get together the night before the wedding with lots of fun around the re pit; it was a great way to get to know each other. My husband is from UK so it was fantastic for his family to enjoy the time in this truly unique picturesque setting. Because KVBR is in a bush setting so peaceful & calming we were all more relaxed and ready for the big day. So  our  event was  not  just  a  wedding  it was  truly  a  fun weekend with  a  bush  experience. We also had a great recovery brunch the following day. We would be very happy to recommend Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat.
